Dr. Scott Pandya

Veterinarian/ Owner

Dr. Scott Pandya grew up in Ebensburg, PA, which is a small town in the western part of the state. He completed his undergraduate degree from Penn State in 2012 and received his veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2016. Prior to starting Cumberland Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Scott practiced near the State College area at Town and Country Animal Hospital and in the Shippensburg and Carlisle area with the Shippensburg Animal Hospital group of clinics.

As the owner of Cumberland Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Scott’s practice philosophy is to go the extra mile for patients, clients, and coworkers while also treating everyone how he would like to be treated. Dr. Scott enjoys working on a variety of species including dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, birds, pocket pets, sheep, goats, pet pigs, and chickens. Areas of special interest for Dr. Scott include companion animal dermatology, infectious disease treatment and control, preventative medicine, and senior pet care.

Dr. Scott lives in Mechanicsburg with his wife Stephanie, daughter Autumn, cats Joe and Schylar, and dog Peggy. In his spare time, Dr. Scott enjoys hiking, jogging, reading, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Andrea Hoover

Veterinarian

Dr. Andrea Hoover is from Cookeville, TN, which is in the Middle Tennessee area. She graduated with a Bachelor in Biology from East Tennessee State University in 2013 and from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. War Eagle! Before joining her colleague at Cumberland Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Hoover practiced mixed animal medicine in Oakhill, West Virginia and in Shippensburg, PA.

Dr. Hoover strives to offer excellent patient care by educating clients about the disease process occurring with their pet and informing them of the best treatment options for their furry friends. Dr. Hoover currently works with dogs, cats, sheep, and goats, but is working toward expanding her knowledge into pocket pets and exotics. Special areas of interest include: soft tissue surgery, prophylactic dentistry and dental surgery, as well as, alternative medicine such as chiropractic and acupuncture.

Dr. Hoover lives in the Carlisle area with her Jack Russell mix named Chaco. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, sewing, crocheting, reading, and spending time with her close friends.

Dr. Melissa Vidot

Veterinarian

Dr. Melissa Vidot (Doc Mel) was born and raised in southeast Florida. She is bilingual, able to speak both english and spanish. She attended Florida Atlantic University for her undergraduate studies. After moving up north, she received her doctorate degree from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. During her spare time, she enjoys spending it with her large family (7 pets and counting), binging tv shows, and reading. She has an interest in exotic/farm animal, reproduction, and sports medicine. There’s also a soft spot in her heart for all cats (especially the voids out there aka black cats).

Lyndsey Singleton

Practice Manager

A graduate of East Pennsboro Area High School and Cumberland Perry Vo-Tech, Lyndsey has over 15 years of experience in the veterinary field and has worked in practices and volunteered at rescues in Hawaii, Louisiana and Pennsylvania.

Lyndsey has always had a connection with and passion for animals since she was young; scales, feathers, fins or fur! She has fostered dogs and cats and is very passionate about animal rights and animal activism. In her free time, Lyndsey volunteers at various animals rescues (including a Pig Rescue in MD).

Lyndsey has a 7 year old son and an animal family of rescues consisting of her dog Skyylar and 5 cats; Nickolas (who is Blind), Tony Tiger, Willow and Blue Bird (sisters), and most recently Bee Sharkey who is a tri (front leg was amputated).

When Lyndsey isn’t working at Cumberland Veterinary Clinic, she enjoys hiking and camping with her son and discovering new flora and fauna using her Seek App. She is also a small business owner, selling her paintings and custom made jewelry and various shows.

A fun fact about Lyndsey- her dream is to see a Porcupine in the wild. She lives in the woods and has seen deer, turkey, possums, snakes, racoons and hawks while walking on her property, but she would love to see a porcupine during one of her many hikes in state parks she does throughout the year.

Natalia Kerman

Director of Laboratory Testing

Natalia was born and raised in Enola and graduated from East Pennsboro Area High School in 2017. Natalia currently lives with her sister Rachel and their dog Kahlua. She studied veterinary medicine through YTI’s 21-month program. Natalia took the VTNE exam in August to get her license and became a Credentialed Veterinary Technician in 2019. Natalia has been working in the veterinary field for 4 years. She mainly works with cats and dogs but loves working with exotic pets also.

During the spring and summer months, you’ll find Natalia at Lake Tobias Wildlife Park where she has been working for 4 years. She loves working at Lake Tobias as it allows her to live out her dream to work at a zoo. There, she works as a tour guide and reptile handler where she gets to educate others about exotic animals in the park. Most importantly, Natalia's job at Lake Tobias allows her to get kisses from the elk!

Shania David

Veterinary Nurse

Shania graduated from Central Dauphin East High School in Harrisbug, PA in 2014. She attended Wilkes University with the intent of becoming a physical therapist for animals. She left Wilkes University to pursue her ultimate dream of working with all types of animals and got her first job in the veterinary field as a receptionist at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Clinic.

After gaining experience at Noah’s Ark Veterinary Clinic, Shania took a new career path and began working at the Humane Society of Harrisburg as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. Since 2022, Shania has been working full time at Cumberland Veterinary Clinic as a veterinary nurse. She is currently studying to become a licensed veterinary technician through Penn Foster. Her joys in life include hiking with her fur baby Akuna and playing with her other fur baby rescue Puti.

Veronica Kiner

Veterinary Nurse

Veronica grew up on a farm with cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, etc. Veronica has 2 dogs named Paisley and Blue that she loves dearly. Veronica was the 2020 Dairy Princess for Cumberland County. She later competed in that same year for the state title. She also graduated from Cumberland Valley Highschool in 2020. Veronica was also a member of the FFA in her school, and was on the committee as the sentinel. She achieved many awards and scholars along the way. She currently is part of the FFA organization as an alumni. Her passion for animals has been with her since she was a little girl, however her love has grown more for livestock, but she is open for any animal. Veronica's favorite hobbies to do outside of work are to ride horses and to run barrels. As well as to hang on the farm and do farm work, finally to play with her pups.

Madison Zehring

Customer Service Representative/Veterinary Nurse

Madison grew up on a farm in Missouri with goats, angus cattle and chickens. She attended College of the Ozarks in pursuit of agriculture, then joined the Marine Corps. After 3 years of serving in California, Japan, Virginia and South Carolina in the 1/11 Artillery battalion, she moved with her husband and pets to Pennsylvania.

Madison has always had a heart for animals-especially livestock. She now has three Saint Bernards named Kevin, Rory and Bella, as well as a handful of cats that keep her busy. She has been in the animal field for 4 years, and her expertise is in client care and making sure owners are heard.

Madison's favorite thing to do daily is pet cats and find ways to make others laugh--"because there's nothing like a soft cat and a good joke!"

Julie Green

Customer Service Representative

Julie was born in Carlisle and graduated from Cumberland Valley High School. Julie has an Associates Degree in Medical Billing and Coding and 2 years towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. But Julie's dream has always been working with animals of all types. She has worked in the veterinary field for 19 years now and has also been a volunteer at Speranza Animal Rescue for 11 years. Her passion for animals is what gets her up every day. She has always brought home strays since she was a little girl.

Julie has 6 dogs, 6 cats, 1 Cornsnake, and 1 Bearded Dragon. Since Julie lives in the country, it is only natural for her to love all animals. She has daily feral friends that visit for feeding, including cats, opossums, turkey, deer, and geese.

Allison Heishman

Veterinary Technician

Allison grew up on a farm near Newville, PA with cattle, pigs, sheep, and chickens along with many cats and dogs over the years. This is where her passion for animals was born, with her grandmother guiding her to learn to have compassion for and care for all living creatures.

She graduated from Big Spring High School in 2014 and then continued on to Wilson College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and became a licensed technician in 2019. She has over 5 years of experience in the veterinary field and her passions are surgery and client education.

Allison lives in Carlisle with her husband Ryan, their two cats Luna and Bagheera, and their pitbull mix Ozzy. When she’s not working at CVC you can find her spending time with her family and friends, spending time outdoors hiking and kayaking, and finding her next DIY project.

Claire Lethbridge

Veterinary Assistant

Claire Lethbridge is originally from the Philadelphia area but has lived in Carlisle for the past nine years. After doing a couple semesters at HACC, Claire went to Central Dauphin Technical School Adult Education Program to become an Approved Veterinary Assistant in 2022. Her love of animals stems from childhood in having variety of pets such as guinea pigs, birds, cats and a dog. When Claire is not working she can be found spending time with her husband Paul, two sons Dominick and Julius and their “fur kids” Mia and Zeus. Some of her interests include nature, swimming, music and taking little weekend adventures when she can. Oh and yes she is a Philly sports fan. Go Eagles!

Brielle Kutz

Veterinary Nurse

Brielle grew up in Newville, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of Big Spring High School who later went on to study Veterinary Technology at York Technical Institute. Brielle grew up with 3 older brothers and 2 younger sisters and gets her love for all animals from her grandfather who she looked up to.

Brielle has been in the veterinary field for 6 years and has mainly worked with dogs and cats but is excited to work with more at CVC! Her passion in veterinary medicine is surgery and she can’t wait to take the best care of your pet while they are here with us.

Brielle currently lives in Carlisle with her husband Mohamed, 2 horses Paige and Arabella, 2 Rottweilers Harper and Harley, 2 cats Flora and Henry and a turtle named Spike. When she isn’t working at CVC you can find Brielle either at her diner that she owns with her husband, on the couch reading a book surrounded by her dogs or at her parents home in Newville hanging out with her family.
